and current customers with more refined, more tightly integrated solutions for sales and use
tax compliance. When Independent Systems’ software and databases are combined with a
new partner’s product(s), we strive to help the broadest range of our current customer
base possible, while simultaneously broadening the appeal of our overall solution set with
companies seeking an outsourced sales and use tax solution.
Independent Systems’ partnership strategy is defined by three (3) partnership categories:
ERP/POS and Financial Software Partners
Our relationships with Infor, SYSPRO, Natural Solutions,
Exact Software (via partnership with WiSys)
and VISUAL Manufacturing (via partnership with Alpine Systems)
result in fully integrated, fully supported solutions for sales and use tax compliance.
Strategic Software Partners
Partnerships with companies such as Worksright Software and Proxix Solutions deliver
solutions which enable our customers to maximize the accuracy of Independent Systems’
software and databases, by ensuring our customer’s customer records have
correct/standardized address information and zip+4 data for all customer records.
Integration and Development Partners
Independent Systems maintains programmers and database specialists to enable in-house
development of interfaces for various ERP/POS/Financial systems. Whenever Independent
Systems encounters a new opportunity involving a new system interface, we often rely on
companies such as Alpine Systems, WiSys, Single Source Systems, Computer Solutions,
and Midland Information Systems to provide “certified/authorized
expertise” with the specific ERP/POS/Financial system integration project.
We continue to work to increase the overall value we can deliver to our customers and
we continue to work on finding ways to further automate and enable time-saving measures
when administrating an effective sales and use tax compliance program with our software
and databases.
